Who we are
The Society of Radiological Technologists' 2007-Feb is the professional body for radiographers of the workforce in diagnostic imaging and radiotherapy in Sri Lanka. It is responsible for their professional, educational, public and workplace interests. Founded in 2007 , it is one of the Most Popular radiography organisations in Sri Lanka.We started this Society in 17th October 2010.
Radiography is one of the Allied Health Professions. Through setting the highest standards for the profession and working for our members, we aim to ensure the safest and highest quality services in diagnostic imaging and radiotherapy.

Our Mission
The mission of the Society of Radiological Technologists' 2007-Feb is to advance the quality of diagnosis and treatment of ill or injured patients by means of medical imaging and to enhance teaching and research in Radiography & radiotheraphy

Aims & objectives of Society of Radiological Technologist's 2007-Feb
a. To develop academic excellence and foster professional efficiency among members of the Society.
b. To dignify the profession of Radiographers by maintaining and improving the ethical, professional standards of education and research.
c. To have Registration Medical Council and State levels.
d. To have common designation as "Radiological Technologist "
throughout Sri Lanka.
e. To enhance the qualification to B.Sc. in Medical Technology (Radiography Diagnosis & Radiotherapy).
f. To ban the entry of unqualified personnel into Radiography.
